Meet Betsy

Owner and Art Director of Primaluxe Design Studio, Betsy has been creating amazing work for over 15 years, defining and building brands with innovative visual solutions. She has an innate passion for print design and a drive to continually raise the level of her craft. Betsy’s experience runs the gamut, from building corporate brands to designing consumer packaging to creating memorable invitations and announcements. This experience has given her the opportunity to work with organizations such as: Krispy Kreme, CRUNK!!! Energy Drink, Porsche, Starbucks, Emory University, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Coca-Cola, Budweiser and Kimberly-Clark. Betsy’s award-winning work has been featured in several publications and galleries including: HOW International Design Annual, Graphic Design : USA, typographyserved.com and the Behance Network Gallery. Heavily involved in design education, Betsy also worked as an instructor at the Portfolio Center for 8+ years and has served as a critique panelist for AIGA’s annual portfolio review.
Located in San Diego, California, the clear skies, sunshine and ocean breeze constantly feed her creative inspiration. And of course, let’s not forget to mention the all important color suggestions she receives from her dog Roscoe, a basset hound with a knack for color theory.
